It’s funny and sad at the same time. Fake Twitter followers and worthless Facebook pages are all too common in our industry. Jonathon Coleman of REI said it best: We can do better than this.

You may be able to get away with using tactics alone and see some movement in the SERPs, but tactics alone won’t help you see a return in social media. Everything you do needs to be part of something bigger than itself.
